Washington Adventist University is a private university with a liberal arts tradition, offering a dynamic blend of professional and liberal arts undergraduate and graduate programs. WAU occupies 19 acres in Takoma Park, Maryland, near the nation’s capital. Its world-class metropolitan setting affords unrivaled opportunity for learning, work, recreation, service and worship.

Academic programs at Washington Adventist University are offered in three distinct schools; The School of Arts & Social Sciences, The School of Graduate & Professional Studies, and The School of Health Professions, Science & Wellness.

Washington Adventist University is located approximately seven miles north of the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., at the intersection of Carroll and Flower avenues in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Accommodation

Our residence hall rooms are outfitted for two occupants with a bed, desk and chair, sink, and closet. The room provides hook up for cable TV and WiFi access. Every hall has common areas for meetings, group study, and recreation, as well as a communal kitchen, chapel, and laundry facilities. Morrison Hall provides on campus housing for male students and Halcyon Hall provides on campus housing for female students.
