About Taylor’s University

Since its inception in 1969, Taylor’s has continuously provided excellent services for its students in terms of diverse study options, relevant curriculum and teaching methods, ongoing partnerships with leading universities worldwide, strong industry linkages, up-to- date facilities and well-equipped campuses. Taylor’s University offers a myriad of courses in tertiary education, from foundation and diploma, to degree, post-graduate and professional programmes. Students can choose to enrol in courses encompassing fields such as Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Biosciences, Law, Business, Communications, Design, Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts, Medicine and Pharmacy.

The quality of the undergraduate teaching and learning at Taylor’s was acknowledged when it garnered a ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ rating in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education (SETARA) in 2009, 2011 and 2013, by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

Taylor’s University has been listed as number 179 in Asia in the QS Asia Ranking 2016. Taylor’s University was also awarded 5-Star rating in five (5) categories of the QS Stars Rating 2016. Taylor’s University was also recognised in two subject areas in the recent QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017 - as the number 21 university in the world for the Hospitality & Leisure Management subject. These achievements are important milestones for Taylor’s, in line with its aim of becoming one of Asia’s leading universities.

Taylor’s has also received numerous recognitions locally and internationally from professional bodies such as the CDIO Initiative (Conceiving, Designing, Implementing, Operating), National Academy of Engineering in the USA and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to name a few.

Taylor’s continues to play a strong role in developing Malaysia’s human resource capital, and boasts a 100,000-strong alumnus, many of whom have become leaders in their respective fields.

Taylor's University Lakeside Campus encompasses a modern, functional design with state-of-the-art facilities together with lush greenery and its trademark 5.5 acre lake; striking a balance between form and function to embody Taylor's University's modern approach and perspective in premium education with an approach to holistic growth outside the classroom.

Surrounding the serene lake are buildings that house the academic wings and the commercial annexes that comprise of wide and spacious corridors, pleasing and rich landscapes and all in all, a sustainable and conducive environment for education. Besides, being visually comforting and naturally soothing, the overall design also enhances the air quality, both indoor and outdoor.

Located in the urban areas of Subang Jaya, the Taylor's Lakeside University Campus serve as a central hub for students, with well-equipped facilities and a conducive study environment. 

Just 30 minutes away from the nation's capital city, Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya is linked by highways and well-connected to neighbouring townships of Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang. On the other hand, the Sri Hartamas campus is just 10 minutes away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur and neighbouring township, Petaling Jaya.
