Rowan features eight residence halls and five apartment communities nestled among the trees of a 200-acre campus in historic Glassboro, New Jersey. Students who live on campus benefit from facilities and resources that support students’ success as they transition to living independently. Research and experience tells us that students who live on campus participate more in student organizations, are more likely to complete a degree in four years and earn higher GPAs.

On-campus dining offers convenience and flexibility for the entire Rowan community, not just on-campus residents. Rowan University Dining provides a variety of delicious options at 11 locations across campus. Students and faculty can buy meal plans that fit their needs each semester.

Rowan's Camden Campus is located in the University District of Camden in a five-story facility at Broadway and Cooper Street. It features 40 classrooms, a community room, student and faculty lounges and computer labs. The University shares the building with Camden County College in a collaborative education effort. In addition, students have full library privileges and recreation center use at Rutgers University/Camden. Students also have access to the University District Bookstore.

In 2009, Rowan University acquired the historic First National Bank and Trust Company building and annex on the corner of Cooper and Broadway, across the street from its current campus building. The 44,000 square foot building will be renovated for instructional and administrative use in order to accommodate additional students and to support the campus' plans for growth.
