About Andrews University

Andrews University is a private university that was established in 1874 from a tiny school with only twelve students. Today, the school has evolved and transformed itself into becoming the Andrews University, named as the best-known Adventist educational institution in the world. The university is made up of eight schools and colleges, offering 130 undergraduate majors and 70 graduate majors in total, with roughly 3500 students in total.

Andrews University is located beside the Village of Berrien Springs in southwest Michigan, within the Oronoko Charter Township. It is located 12 miles away from Lake Michigan.

Accommodation

The Andrews residence hall spec sheet reads almost like a hotel brochure: air conditioning, cable TV, internet, fitness centers, laundry facilities, spacious lobbies, room service...alright, so there’s no room service, unless you’ve got an over-obliging roommate. We don’t mean to imply that you’ll be staying at the Hyatt Regency, but the Andrews housing accommodations are comfortable, to say the least.

Our residence hall as well as the family and graduate housing staff will take care of you like family. There is an awesome sense of community that comes from things like hall worships, the men’s and women’s club functions, family and graduate housing functions, and Sabbath morning pancake breakfasts. Things like these—rather than a sky-rise swimming pool and pillow mint—allow us to assure you that you’ll have a comfortable high quality living experience in Andrews housing.
