ACM was founded 20 years ago by Phil Brookes on a single, fundamental principle: an absolute passion for delivering outstanding contemporary music education. In that time, our passion has not changed, and like some of you thinking about University or College for the first time, we've really come of age.

Surrey is perfectly placed for music industry professionals and artists, and our towns and villages house some of music’s most respected and prominent artists due to its enviable proximity to London, excellent travel links, fantastic shopping and vibrant nightlife.

Guildford is an affluent, busy Surrey market town offering the best of South East England, situated near excellent road and rail links: close to the A3 and M3 running from London to the South Coast and an express train to London in under 40 minutes. Classed as one of the most secure places to live in Britain, and teeming with other students not only from Surrey University, but also Guildford School of Acting and Performance Preparation Academy, Guildford has a long history of lively student life.
