Venture-building initiatives empower students and graduates to transform ideas into scalable startups across technology, fintech, gaming and smart solutions.

The entrepreneurial spirit is gaining strong momentum at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), as Enterprise@APU continues to nurture a new generation of student founders who are translating ideas into impactful startups.

Enterprise@APU serves as the university’s venture-building and entrepreneurial development arm, designed to empower students and graduates to build startups that address real-world challenges.

Genta AI Solutions, founded by Mahmoud Ashraf, develops responsible and practical AI technologies, including AI agents, workflow automation systems and enterprise AI tools that integrate seamlessly into organisational operations.

By bridging academic learning with practical business experience, the initiative enables aspiring founders to explore innovation beyond the classroom.

Through a structured ecosystem of programmes, mentorship and industry engagement, Enterprise@APU provides students with the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial capabilities while refining viable business ideas.

The initiative also plays a strategic role in strengthening APU’s broader innovation ecosystem, positioning the university as a hub for student-led ventures and technology-driven entrepreneurship.

Among its flagship initiatives are the Enterprise Speaker Series, Bite-Sized Workshops, Startup InnovateX, the APU Sandbox Accelerator, and the Startup Internship Programme. Together, these initiatives guide participants through the full startup journey — from ideation and prototype development to market validation and early-stage growth.

By combining practical training, industry exposure and hands-on venture development, these programmes equip students with essential competencies in leadership, innovation management and entrepreneurial strategy.
