Curriculum

In the first two years, you concentrate on Physics. The quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, relativity and thermal physics modules teach the fundamental principles of the subject. These are universal and beautiful theories, which are the basis not just of Physics but of all science and engineering. This is illustrated in the ‘Physics-in-action’ modules on Electrical Power Generation and Geophysics. The Physics component of your course also teaches the practical and analytical skills of a physicist, for example how to devise experiments and how to take, analyse and process data.

When you transfer to Warwick Business School (WBS) for your final year, you will study areas of business and management. Your final year in WBS is designed to develop a critical understanding of how organisations work, how they are managed, and how they interact with local, national and international environments. There is flexibility to switch into or out of this stream at any time in your first two years.
