About Lakeland Community College

Lakeland Community College is a public institution of higher education committed to providing quality learning opportunities to the region it serves. The college strives to provide an environment for students that fosters the development of social, political, aesthetic and moral values. Providing the public with the highest quality education possible - while keeping the price affordable - is one of the college’s top priorities. Lakeland offers courses during the day, evening, weekends and online. Additionally, classes are offered in a variety of formats, such as accelerated, blended, Web-assisted, self-paced, or in learning communities to best meet the needs of busy students. Classes are offered on both the main campus in Kirtland and at the Lakeland East campus in Madison, Ohio.

Campus information

Lakeland Community College offers two locations for students to complete an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree close to home. Both locations offer day, evening and weekend classes, providing flexible options for students with busy lifestyles. Online classes are also offered. (See page 4 for more information.)

Main Campus
Lakeland Community College’s main campus is located on 400 wooded acres in Kirtland, OH, only 30 minutes northeast of Cleveland.

Lakeland East
Located in Madison, OH, 20 minutes east of main campus, Lakeland Community College’s East Off-Site Center in a relaxed environment with personalized attention afforded by smaller class size. Visit lakelandcc.edu/schedule to view the courses offered at Lakeland East. 

Accommodation

The College does not offer housing to students, but there are many apartment complexes in the surrounding area.
