The beautiful campus with its community atmosphere provides the perfect setting for students to prepare for careers of service to Christ and others. On campus, JUTN students enjoy plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow students and their professors, since many live on campus.
Johnson University Tennessee is part of the Johnson University System which offers more than 70 bachelor’s, master’s, Ph.D., and associate’s programs across three campuses—in East Tennessee, Central Florida, and online. All programs include a biblical core and an arts & science core—designed to equip individuals for Christian ministries and other strategic vocations to extend the kingdom of God.
Johnson University is located twelve miles southeast of Knoxville, Tennessee in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
JUTN’s beautiful Knoxville campus boasts Johnson Hall and Brown Hall, two modern and well-equipped residence halls housing undergraduate students. Each two-person dorm room has internet access, personal temperature controls, movable furniture, and a private bath. The residence halls are each outfitted with two full-sized kitchens and additional storage space that is available to students during the academic year. Housing options for non-traditional students are also available.
Clark Hall also contains single-occupancy rooms (in which the 3rd floor is often used for guest housing) and a women’s workout facility.
All dormitories have a live-in residence director to maintain dorm operations and security. Each wing has two on-site residence assistants (RAs) who plan outings and events. RAs also help encourage students to maintain the standard of conduct to which they have committed. All residence hall staff serve as a resource to students, fostering an environment of encouragement, comfort, and security.
Residence halls are within easy walking distance of the academic buildings, dining hall, and the student center (EAC). Bicycle racks are available across campus, and ample parking for student vehicles is available near the dorms.
