Entry Requirements

  • Entry requirements differs from country to country, but in general, applicants must have satisfactorily completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of the James Cook University Singapore Foundation Program will also satisfy the entrance requirement.

English Requirements

  • Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 (no component lower than 6.0)/ TOEFL iBT 79 (with minimum writing score of 19)/ TOEFL (paper based) with 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.5)/ Pearson (PTE Academic) 57; or
  • Satisfactory completion of James Cook University Singapore English Language Preparatory Program (ELPP);
  • Students who have successfully completed 2 years of full-time study in English medium may satisfy the English Language requirement on a case-by-case basis.
